Installation of EasyPeasy 1.5 on EEE PC is not that trivial, so I am including my notes here to help others. The EEE PC is great, but there is difficulty in getting other Linux applications, such as VLC. So, installation of EasyPeasy on the EEE PC would make it super usable.
http://www.geteasypeasy.com/ shows a simple 3 step process to downloading the ISO file, use unetbootin utility (I used Windows version) to put the ISO onto a SD card, and then start EEEPC while holding down ESC key to direct it to boot with the SD card.
Not so trivial is what to do next: http://forums.geteasypeasy.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2324 Basically, select DEFAULT and load EasyPeasy into memory, and then click on Administration Tab and launch the "Install" application. Following the 7 step simple instructions (as with all Ubuntu installs) and put the install on the entire internal SD card. (EEE PC originally use Debian branch and partition the 4G SD card into 4 partitions.)
